I killed the pansy lich so Edwin could get the Nether Scroll. Edwin is now Edwina the bearded lady. Question is: Will he/she leave if you don't help her find a cure?
You don't need to do anything. Just keep going on like normal and let things take their course.

As to Edwina, one word of advice: do not give away her/his identity when you're approached by an outsider mage who has a score to settle with Edwin.

Though try talking to Salvanas the elf in the Copper Coronet if you haven't already. It's one of the funniest parts of the game.

Each character in your party gets a different reaction from Salvanas. He's the RPG equivalent of Leisure Suit Larry.

Yshania: Have Edwin in your party and go to the Graveyard district, his quest will start. It evolve around a mishaps with a very old spell. Although it does takes a long time to finish, nearly 30 days.
