I tried the game Morrowind for a week, guess i waited long enough so i
finally got around testing this game - and man.. do i regret testing it.
Totalyl blows, everything is weird, not thought of enough. And dont even
mention playing as a mage , Mission Impossible-3.
Word of advice, stick to IWD-2 , the übergame of the übergames .
IWD-2 Vs Morrowind.

playing mage in morrowind is bit hard.. but later mages will kick butt.. high elf with well i dont now remember what sign but it has stunned magicka.. choose that and you will have insane Mana..
Pure Mages are always hardest... so pick some armor and weapon skills.. or just use class battlemage..
But sticking in IWD2 is bad idea.. Morrowind has some nice thing s to offer.. like Argonians.. god i love them.. But if the ugly bodys and faces made you run away.. well plugins can fix that.. if you want i can give you some links..

I actually loved the freedom that Morrowind gives you to develop your character in any way you want. It is a huge game in every way. Yes it's tough at low levels, but once you get a few level under your belt things get nasty. You can do some truely evil things with the Enchant skill, and creating your own spells and magic items really rocks. Want an unresistable Paralyse equivalent? Just buy a spell like Emasculate that damages an attribute, go to a spell maker and get then to create something that does 1-20 ponts of Speed damage per second for 5 seconds. Or even better , enchant an item to do something similar. No enemies have more than 100 speed to a few castings of this spell and they are stopped in their tracks for ever. Retreat back and kill them with ranged weapons!
Give Morrowind a chance and you will probably get fully immersed in the character development side of it.

This is irresponsible of you, Dreez. Granted, you had problems with the game; but the complaints you placed in a thread you started in our Morrowind forum were of the kind that anyone who has spent a couple of hours with the title could help at. In fact, several of us went through your problems at length--in that thread, where in your one and only post you basically told us all off, and said you were heading back to...NWN. (I guess your greatest game suddenly shifted.) You clearly never played the product for even 5 hours, given some of the obvious things (like the options menu) that you missed, and you never asked about the issues you posted in your "farewell, your game stinks" thread, either.
When people have problems, they ask for help to achieve solutions. They don't go next door and complain to somebody else. That's not the way to accomplish anything. You're welcome to your opinions, but this kind of "I'm gonna get back at them!" tactic hardly reflects well on you.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Been there done that what is the point?..

They're just two very different kinds of game, Wrath-of-Egg. The IWD series is linear, multi-character, 2D (which I count as an advantage in strategy) and rather limited in size. The Morrowind world is huge, 3D, single character, and largely non-linear. The former has no mods, but interesting dialog trees and characters. The latter lacks good writing and dialog trees, but plays host to 4000+ mods. I've enjoyed playing them both, and there's no reason for any player to deliberately try to get into people's good graces by spitting on another product.
