Hi,

I got a problem with Umar Hills quests. I can't get there because area on the map is grey out.
Any ideas?

Did you try going to the City Gates area, then exiting from there to go to Umar Hills?

Sometimes you have to do other things first. I remember having the same problem. I think it became ungreyed for me after I solved the major Tradekeep quests. Just do some other (outside of Amn) quests first; eventually it will become available.

Actually it becomes available in Athkatla when you talk to a little boy for whom Minsc avows much butt-kicking in the Umar Hills, then you go to the city gates and talk to the caravan driver then you should be able to head to the Umar Hills from then on.

The boy is on Government district but will come to you after some time.
To leave Athkatla you need to go past the gate (were the guards are). if you want to go to areas outside Athkatla wend you are in that city you need always to past the gate.

If the place shows up on the map and is grayed out go to the Nearest area and exit the screen towards the area grayed out.Sometimes this means going to differnt areas and trying to exit at all 4 sides of the screen.
