How do you defeat the Guardian of the Lance (spoiler)

Post by Clipper »

I am now at the crypt and have completed all of the quests prior to get there I think. I have beaten the caves of Nostradamus and I have talked with Nostradamus in the Demesn. I returned to the church of Montaillou and also talked to the witch again. But I still cannot defeat the Guardian Of the Lance 9 a large skeleton of the type I have beaten many times before.) This creature seems to have about 5 million hit points I have used 12 barrel explosives on him and have clobbered him with The everlastingTwo handed hammer and a barrage of electrical and fire spells even raised two smaller skeletons(One at a time) no help. I used health potions: extra 25 of them ,healing 32 of them,Mass healing 16 of them ,spirit Elixir 32 of these My strength is still low st= 4 so I am stuck. Can this thing be killed or I am missing something? Would really appreciate someones input on this one . What am I doing wrong????????  (spoiler)(spoiler)

I think...

Well, the Revenant's ability is Vampirism, so it takes points from your HP as he does damage. My suggestion would be to have substantial skill points in Fighting Discipline, Fortitude spell and many potions. You said your ST is 4?...It's low, you can't beat him...at least ST 8-9...or even 10...it depends now on how you've created your character. Maybe details about your character would help to give you a proper strategy. Mine is a Feralkin and I found the Guardian pretty easy to whack :)
There's a spirit within you, an old mystic being that enables you to wield magic.
