where is the key to wanev's room in the cottage?

where is the key to wanev's room in the cottage?

I have had trouble getting in 2 the room in Wanev's cottage. It says it requires a special key but I've looked everywhere and can't find it. Need help!! Any help would b great. :(

If I recall correct, then you should be given the key from Elaith if you accept the quest to find the Gems for him. Elaith is located in the Alliance Arm Inn.
