Well, about a week ago, I finished reading the latest Drizzt Do'Urden book, The Two Swords. Sure, not exactly the Icewind Dale Trilogy, but that and the entire 'Hunter's Blades' Trilogy didn't fail to deliver. Definitely an intense set of war stories, which did feature Drizzt quite prominently while giving enough notice and creativity to characters besides the famous Drow ranger.
I'll likely continue the Avatar Series (which deals with the Time of Troubles that caused the likes of the Baldur's Gate games to happen within the Forgotten Realms) next, or the Paths of Darkness set (which is the Drizzt Do'Urden books before the 'Hunter's Blades' Trilogy). Already read half of them, so there's just some stuff I better catch up on.
I am currently reading "Dune Messiah" which is the second book in the Dune series (I suspect Stilgar has read those books as well
) The Dune books are my favourite trilogy ever.
Dune isn't a triology.
There are 6 Dune books.
I liked the first one and read untill half the 3ed one but after the first one, the serie collapsed. I didn't like the 2ed en 3ed at all.

Well there's actually 6 Dune books (I've read and loved all of them) unless you count the 3 or 4 addendix books that has come out as well, then you have 10.
Anyway I just prefer the term Trilogy instead of series, and the first three are the best ones anyway. (oh, and number 5 and 6 as well, they are amazing)

If anyone is wondering what to read, I highly recommend Servent of the Shard. And for those who don't read read fantasy, Angels and Deamons by Dan Brown.

I'm currently reading Robin Hobb.
She's a totally awsome writer that rules all of fantasy in my (an many others')opinion.
If I ever write a book, her style is how I wish I could write it.
She tells te story form a main character's point of view. This way she really lets you know the character and how he feels. Emotions are very important in her books. As the main character grows up, you grow up with him. His life is an emotional rollercoaster that I love to ride. She makes me feel sad when he's sad and she makes me feel happy when he is happy.
I can really recommend her writing.

I'm reading a book of Krazy Kat comic strips from the early 1930s, and a book of short stories by the Hungarian journalist, Gyula Krudy.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Definitely read Servant of the Shard. Probably the best of the Paths of Darkness set that I read so far.
I'll more than likely be reading Prince of Lies as time goes on. I've read the first book in the Avatar Series (got that months ago), and had the fortune of finding all of them at my local Waldenbooks, in very affordable paperback editions.
So, Julian, do you really suggest all of the other books in the Songs and Swords set? I've read Elfshadow, which I rather liked, and was wondering about the other books.
Vicsun: Yeah, I've read all three of those. Probably like 'Hamlet' the most, then followed by 'Death of a Salesman.'

Currently I'm reading the second book of Raymond Feist, the book after Wizard or Sorcerer or Magician or whatever it's called in english (here in Belgium it's Magiër, and the second book is called "Zilverdoorn". I have absolutely no idea how to translate Zilverdoorn). Feist writes good, sometimes great, but he can never match to Steven Erikson, the author of the The Tales from the Malazan Book of the Fallen. His books are masterpieces, and I can't wait until part 5 is released

Feist is good, I started with Magician too. The first books are the best IMO, When Puc becomes this uber powerfull magician it's less fun. I did like the devellopment the characters go through a lott.
The Riftwar saga is pretty cool, I did like the follow up, Serpent wars too. It goes on with the same characters.
I'd also like to read the Empire series. The Tsuranie (or something like that) are pretty cool, they remind me of the Drow.
It's Silverthorn btw, If i'm not mistaking. Robbie the Hand is cool.

I just take a hot chocolate, a box of cookies and a good book and make it myself comfortable in the couch. When I start reading a good book , I lose any sense of time. Reading is much more amusing, than, say, computer gaming

I actually just in the past couple years have I actually finished a book..I have a thing in me that won't allow me to read books..I get like a paragraph in then I get a mindblank and wake up like 10 pages in, not having a clue what I read.
Anyway, over the summer I read the Dragonlance Chronicles trilogy, and the Legends trilogy. And just today I started reading the Icewind Dale book (Collector's Edition). I borrowed the Chronicles trilogy from my friend who for some reason or another decided to buy it, as well as 3 thick drow books..which after reading Chronicles it inpired me to buy the Legends trilogy which I loved..and I am borrowing my friend's Icewind Dale book (one of the thick drow books).
I have no clue WHY my friend bought these books considering he isn't exactly a "fan" of D&D, and I don't believe his friends even know who Drizzt is..anyway yeah, I am finally getting on my way to becoming a total lamer.
Oh, and all the books I can remember that I finished were these:
The Martian Chronicles - Ray Bradbury (in like 10th grade for a report, but I actually liked it).
The Hobbit - Duh (Also liked it, but I can't get into the LotR books at all for some reason).
Dragonlance Chronicles Trilogy - duh
Dragonlance Legends Trilogy - duh
and I can't remember off the top of my head any other books I have ever read and finished..or even STARTED for that matter..started LotR books and couldn't get interested, and just started Icewind Dale..which I am liking already.
