Beserk Misc attacking party

Post by Brookster »

Hi all

I found myself murdering Misc last night in a fit of annoyance... monsters all around, and he desides to try and kill Keldorn!

I'll retrieve him of course, but is there anyway in future to ensure when beserk, he goes for the bad guys? Or do I just have to keep everyone out of his way...

thanks

minsc's berserker rage makes him uncontrollable when enemies are around (it's like the rage for the cursed berserking sword i believe)

i think it offers the same immunities that the barbarian rage offers, but don't quote me on it.

In my games, he's only gone berserk when Aerie dies. Otherwise, he's never once given me problems along those lines.

Mind you, there was that time Boo ate three chairs in that tavern, however...

For other people's clarification.

You've never used Minsc's berserker rage manually, then?

Not a chance. I've had enough problems with him when Aerie bit the dust. I leave that "ability" alone.

It happened to me once or twice and then I stopped using his raging ability

It's a last ditch option.

It isn't a bad idea to move him far from the party if you are going to choose to use his rage.

BTW, Minsc's rage does NOT protect against Kangaax's Imprisonment.
