seeking advice on starting over

I am about to begin SoA again. After starting it twice and getting through much of it I have lost my saves (don't ask).
If I go buy the game again now, what patches will I need if I am running Windows XP Home Edition?

The new collector's edition that is out now which contains both Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal should run just fine without. I have this one and have experienced no problems with XP. Enjoy.

You will need the official patch, otherwise you won't be able to talk to alot of people. So just get the official patch and baldurdash.
