Changing Protagonist ?

Post by Mageblade »

Hi All:

Is there a way to change your protagonist in the game? The reason I ask is, I have my fighter as my protagonist, but I think I'd rather have it as my wizard (i'm playing multiplayer and have a custom party - no NPC's). #1, it fits better in my wizards background story, but #2, I think I'd rather have the planar sphere as my stronghold so I can get my apprentices there to make me things (specifically the ring of wizardry). And IF this is possible, what happens to my current stronghold of da'Arnise keep that my fighter has?

If you can't change the protagonist, is there a way to get the ring of wizardry w/o having Jaheria in your party and not having the planar sphere as your stronghold? (and w/o creating it by cheat?) Thanks!

Worked!

Worked like a charm! Thanks!

What is odd is my fighter retained his protagonist ablities (Cure Light Wounds, Lalloch's Minor Drain ect...)

Now to go see if I still own the keep and if I can get the planar sphere as my new homestead.

Thanks again!

its not odd at all that they retain their protaganist special abilities. The game never removes them because in single player you could not do what you did t switch protaganists. You could give these abilities to ALL your party if you wanted with the same tactic. Though at that point SK would be more efficient.
Tact is for people not witty enough to be sarcastic
