Trouble on Solstheim (Part 1)

Post by Alien_Newborn »

Having recently completed all of the stone rituals for the Skaal test of loyalty, I also completed the test of strength and test of wisdom. At the end of the test of strength, Korst Wind-Eye tells you to return to the Skaal village from Lake Fjalding. All went well until I talked with Tharsten Heart-Fang, at which point he said "I have buisnes to attend to. I will speak with you later". As I went to the door, I heard what sounded like a couple of guys getting their arses ripped anew by wolves. However, when I went outside, there was nothing happening. I talked to each of the villagers, hoping that one of them would provide me with a lead to a quest, but they all acted like nothing happened. Something is obviously missing, but what is it? Did I do something wrong, or is this a glitch? Anyone mind telling me what should have happened? Any help would be apreciated.

well.. don't quote me on this, for i haven't played that part of the game in a long time, but if i'm right, as soon as you walk outside, there should be a whole pack of werewolves killing the people standing outside.

*****SPOILER*****

Spoiler is written in black, just high light it to read it

At this point you are bitten (after killing all the wolves) your choices are to just ignore it and become a werewolf your self and finish the Hercine Main Quest (I strongly recomend you don't) or use a potion of cure common disease and continue on as a normal person in the main quest.

So my guess is that your problem is just a glitch, so just load a file up from before this incedent.

Glad I could help :)

Well, now I'm worried. I've tryed this seventeen consecutive times and nothing happened at all. Since the village is, after all, being attacked, does it matter that I killed all the honor guards earlier because before I was a member, they attacked me for having a crime rating? Because if it does depend on that, I think I'm screwed because Honor Guards don't respawn. :(
