should i pre-order kotor2? will it be a mad dash for it like halo2 and only pre-orders will have a copy for the first week or two?/

Well - if you can't live withouth it in case you can't buy it regularly at release - then sure.

I only ever preorder games I want to play online - like MMORPGs, to be sure I make it into the game close to game start and not months later.
I can't remember ever preordering a single player game.

Ummm ok why bother saying that? If you want it when it comes out on the release day then pre order it. If you can wait then don't. Was that a hard decision?!?!
Personally if the missus hasn't ordered this for my Birthday or Xmas like she did with Halo 2 at our Anniversary then she's divorced!
