the game won't start!

Ok, I have a *real* copy of the game. When I try to start the game the loader appears but after like 20 secs I will get an error msg. Can someone tell me how to get the game work ?
The problem is that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the people who are most certain of them.

ok it started working after I downloaded a no-cd crack
