Help me please. I can't find a solution or a similar comment since if I but control in a search engine I get frenzy as my return.
In vampire bloodlines my character sometimes keeps running in a direction even when I stop pressing the key. While this is happening I can't do anything. Jumping, crouching, using the scrollwheel all don't work but kind of que-up so that after I get control back they all happen. It's not anything to do with frenzy either. I don't think it's my keyboard since other games are fine. It seems to happen more in the open city hubs.
I have 9800 pro, 3000+, 1gig ram and play at 1280x1024
Anyone else heard something similar or have a solution or idea?
loosing control
sorry - not really sure what you can do .. i dont have this problem nor have i had it before ..
- maybe your keyboard is dirty and the keys are getting stuck ? if so clean your key board
- could be lag .. try lowering some of your GFX settings see if that helps ..
- latest drivers for your card
- is there anything in the trouble shoot section of the read me file about whats wrong ?

i'M A BANANA
yeah, I'm not sure either. It's not like lag. My character keeps running. She'll run into a wall and just keep running. It's like the forced movement when you talk to someone and your character is dragged along as if on rails. I don't think it's the key board because while it's happening the mouse doesn't respond - I think it's a game thing. I'll go home, clean it out anyway. Unplug it and replug it. Fire up morrowind and make sure it's ok (call of duty works). Then uninstall/reinstall vampire. Funny thing is that I don't remember it happening before I put in my new 3000+ cpu - though I had only played through the tutorial with my older CPU so I might not have come across it yet.
edit - apparently it's a bug with a conflict with the exe type32.exe - for microsoft keyboards. If you disable that command the problem is gone. I'll go home after work and try it out.
