Can you use force powers of a lower progression?

I've been wanting to know this for a very long time. I have sometimes observed my NPCs like jolee use force powers that are lower in the progression of a certain force power. For example, ive caught jolee using fear when he had insanity. Can this be done? How? I find it very important so that I can switch between whirlwind and wave.... is it possible?

it is not possible if you have only seen jolee done this once then it might of been a glitch of if he used it on one person other than like 3 then it could of looked like fear instead of insanity.......................but it is not possible to use somthign like whirlwind when you have wave sry

Well you can download a mod that allows you to use obsolete force powers. It is a modified spells.2da file you can put in your Override directory. Otherwise, using the Jedi/Droid support script does cause your characters to use inferior powers and feats every now and again. Only thing is that I think Bastila's Battle meditation force power icon is missing from her force powers list afterwards

not that it is a big deal.

well i have KotOR on x box so there is no way i can get mods or patches anyways so if it was on pc i gues you can hack stuff like that or somthing else
