I just found the last of the 4 units for the cure in chapter 1 and when i talk
to aribeth and tell her that im ready to move on into the chamber and the
making of the cure , something odd happens.
I get an Ingame message which say the following:
Invalid character - Player Login refused.
If i press Cancel , my NwN seems to engage Online playing mode as if i were
playing via internet - which im not.
If i chose another character , i load the chamber for the cure and face the
many false helmites.
I tried chosing to proceed with the first version of my MC Druid (lvl-1) which
is exported when created , and that was no problem. Im no genius but if i
had to guess, it would be that somewhere in the game , my druids files
got "corrupted" somehow . But how that happened i cannot see since i
never use anykind of cheats.
Any help would be greatly appreciated by both me and my druid.
I had the same problem; in one of the .ini-files (forgot the name), I guess in the root directory of the game, there is an entry like "allow illegal player: no". If you load this file with an editor like notepad
you can change this into yes or vice versa. This worked fine for me.
