Computer password in Surf's Up Quest

Post by newfie »

I have tried to get past this quest upping my computer skill as a Brujah as much as possible but still requires a hack of five to do it. Anyone know the password to this computer?

First welcome to the board.

Here is a list with all paswords in the game.
But why would you want that? It's cheating, its the same as setting your hackingskill to 10, takes the fun out of the game.

And there are no quests that cant be finished without a high hacking/lockpicking skill.

(There is 1 quest, but it doesnt apear in your quest log and doest give you any experience or item reward. Just a poster in your haven)
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

Sorry, Stilgar but I don't see that password in that list. That is why I am requesting it, it is the one that is not there. Also if you cannot hack that computer and leave the Surf's Up area you cannot go back and try to hack it again. I need that quest to finish Mercurio's quest. Power Gaming!

I was also looking for the Password to the Voerman Sisters PC in the Asylum. That one wasn't on the list. I'd kind of like to read the stuff in there.

Jeanettes Laptop
-email "wishes"

Therese PC
-contacts "1baroness"
-email "business". (I think..)
I could also have these transposed.

By the way, you can buy computer skills manuals from Trip that will give you enough hacking skill to get into the Voerman sisters' pcs. So my advice, RTFM !! :D

Passwords

you can only access the computer of whichever sister is NOT there at the time. I got rather frustrated until I worked that out. Jeanette's laptop is on the dressing table.

once you have played, you might as well write down the passwords - I can remember most now anyhow ("Hang10" BTW for surf reports).

saving those XP for other uses...security/lockpicking is pretty important anyway, but hacking is not any use apart from the passwords - many of which are hinted at anyhow or given.

the porn broker has his written down, the PI has a poster with the word on, other PWs are on bits of paper or in emails that you can access - some can simply be guessed. the game was designed so that the main quests do not need a high hacking feat.
