please help

i am so stuck!! what do i do in the giovanni mansion ? i can't open the only door i see thats locked? I need to find the sarcophgus? please anyone ..... am i missing a hidden door?? I killed everyone but can hear others talking but can't open door????? please help!!! Is the sarcophgus in the mansion or do i leave now??

It's in the mansion.
Try to find a hidden door in the room east from where everyone is standing.

Okay, I'm assuming you are still on the main floor? If so, you are looking for a library with a sword mounted on a plaque. I ran into a glitch in this room. Once you find the room, run immediately to the sword and "use" it (it is an activator). When I hung around the entry, I got a video cut scene but then could not open the concealed door afterwards.

I can't describe where the room is exactly, since the layout to that darned mansion is confusing as all hell.

thanks matthew but i still can't figure it out?? What the hell this game is fun but they really make senseless ways you have to figure things out!!! This wasn't the first time i have been stuck but managed to figure the others out but this??? The only rooms i see don't have a library only rooms with beds?? i don't get it and i'm ready to say f - it!! I play morrowind and never have problems like this!! I like the first vamipe game the redemption!! That game was awesome!! I am in the mansion where you get the invatation outside, with the limo parked outside, just to make sure we are talking about the same mansion. I'm going crazy....... i will try again............ thanks matthew, any other tip you could give me?

When you enter the door to the mansion you go through the next door too. Into the big room with many people (whome I guess you said you already killed). from here you take the right door out and you go straight ahead just a few steps to the next door. Don't remember if you need to lockpick it, but through this door is where you go! When in that room (a library-looking room) you go to the right corner and find a sword on the wall. Pull this and a big hidden door will open. Run down that tunnel as far as it goes.. through some more doors.. kill some zombies.. through some more doors.. finally you will get to the sarcophagus.. but it will not exactly stand alone waiting for you to grab it...
