game doesnt start and other problems

Hello I have a very serious problem the game doesnt start i have an Athlon 2400+ xp RAM 512 and a G force MX 440 128MB I have installed the latest drivers and DirectX9.0c and all I get is a black screen when it starts and the music in the background please heeeeeeeeeeelp

a friend of mine has sided with asian vampires and he is off to kill the prince but his stuck at the second floor and doesnt know what to do there is an elevator but doesnt work

another friend has sided with anarchs and he is stuck because of some bug in the temple where xiao is located

- have you tried playing the game in safe mode ? .. lowest settings possilble .. if that works then adjust the visual settings that work best with your GFX card .. im using a GForce 4 MMX 440 64Mb card and i have no problems

- Lacroix building .. keep going straight and kill the guards that are guarding that area .. from there, there are some stairs that go up (hint if there are guards.. they're guarding something .. thats where you have to go)

- specify the bug at the Xiao temple .. if it where there is a door with a doorblock holding it .. you must push it out of the way .. try pushing one way then the other, that usually works

First of all Thanks for taking the time to look at our problems
My problem in the Temple is with the door at the inside courtyard with waterworks it doesnt open what ever i do.I approached it from different angles nothing maybe i need to do something somewhere else first i really dont know
I hope it aint a bug anyway thanks again for the help cu

I had a problem with that door as well. I could not push the bar, but by melee attacking it continously I eventually was able to push it far enough over to open the door.
