fun with pestilence

I have been trying to do this silly quest for ages. In the walkthrough it says u fall through the floor but I cant find anywhere where the floor gives way - i just keep getting more zombies. Does anyone have any ideas or can anyone guide me to the bit where the floor gives way?

Spoilers, highlight:

From the start, turn left, there's a board covering a hole in the wall on the right side. Follow the narrow passage until you can exit and then take the door on your right.
Now turn right, and make ur way down.
