*Spoilers*
I just fired a full canister of flaming gas at the Xiao monster, and it fell on its face and sort of got stuck in the floor. After that it wouldn't (or couldn't) move and beating it to a pulp was a piece of cake. Weird.
Oh God!
The second time I got a repeat of the problem, but the monster became invulnerable. In addition, one of the small pillars or vases or whatever they are at the side of the room flew towards me. Then the game crashed.

Thats one nasty glitch. Next time you go in there, puppies might rain from the sky and blot out the sun, starving the earth of valuable warmth and destorying all life! AHH!
But seriously, just try and fight without the flamer, and keep reloading cos it doesn't sound like it's the kinda glitch that'll happen every time. Geeze, this game is pretty buggy. Are we secretly testing it before it REALLY goes on sale or something??

Well, I finally got past it. My mistake was in running up to Xiao the *second* she'd finished her dialogue and then firing away. Silly me! How eternally thoughtless of me to think that bosses are allowed to be attacked from the moment they shut their mouths.
Ah well, better get back to beta-testing the game.
