poss spoiler - gargoyle issue

on the walkthrough it suggests you can get an object from max to help destroy it and that he tells u he created it and not to tell isaac. I have had the conversation over and over again and have no idea how to make him admit to this, any help would be appreciated

1) have you donne the questes about the pestillence and report to him...
You need tu be a trust full personne to get this explaination
2) You may be need the book about gargoyle... you can find by turning on your right just after getting in the tremer fondation, 1st room on you're right.
3) I had try this only as a tremer ... I don't know if you can as an other Clan

You might want to get the gargoyle quest from Issac (Baron of Hollywood) first, then go talk to Strauss about gargoyles. The item is a protection vs gargoyles only, so if you use the noncombat method of taking care of the gargoyle, the item is not necessary.

Thanks for the suggestions but i have tried them all. The other thing you mentioned is the noncombat way of dealing with the gargoyle but i have tried every option and the thing attacks me everytime>....

I think you need at least 6 persuade to be able to do the non-combat style on the Gargoyle.

And some similar amount of persuade to get Strauss to admit he created it as well.
