larry, darryl and darryl (possible spoiler)
I'm going through BG1 and i encountered three youngsters named Larry Darryl and Darryl. Now to my question: In throne of ball, outside the fire giants lair, isn't there three youngsters? Are those Larry, Darryl and Darryl? and if they are, can i use the autograph i got from them in BG1 in someway???
I don't recall the youngsters you mention in ToB but I am pretty sure they are unrelated to the BG1 easter egg appearance, and the autograph has no use in any of the games.

Larry, Darryl and Darryl were three weird characters on Newhart (a TV program that featured Bob Newhart in the early 1980s). The appearance of three characters with the same names in Baldur's Gate is just an obscure pop culture reference that most players probably don't understand because they never watched Newhart. You can either sell the autograph for a gold piece or keep it for its sentimental value; there's no other use for it.
The small, furry adventurers that you meet outside the fire giant lair have nothing to do with Larry, Darryl and Darryl. They are called Chinchilla, Merlinious, Tibbet, and Toop the Brave. As far as I can tell, they are all Bhaalspawn--Bhaal mated with fire giants, dragons, and humanoids, so why not with small, furry animals as well? Since the whole world wants all of the Bhaalspawn to die, Chinchilla and his friends think you're trying to hunt them down and kill them. But they are brave adventurers much like yourself, and they don't intend to go down without a fight. I don't see any point in killing them, so I just try to scare them away. If you don't kill them quickly, they retreat, because they're smarter than the average monster.

Huh... they drop some nice potions though... so I their sacrifice usually benefits my party which in turn benefits the known world. Hence I kill them for the greater good every time.
nways theres lots of weird things in BGII... like obscure references to that futuristic Arnold Swch movie where they talked about MDK (Murder Death Kill)... References to Planescape:Torment in the asylum when crazy people talk about floating skulls talking to dead people. It's a long list.
