building a lightsaber *spoilers*

ive got 2 jedi so far and all i have is 2 doublebladed lightsabers, when/where can you get a normal lightsaber? and can you build the parts at the work bench to make another normal lightsaber???

I had my single handed lightsaber made by Bao-Dur inside the Ebon Hawk. I collected the items to do this at the Jedi Enclave (sublevel) at Dantooine. When Bao-Dur starts crafting the lightsaber he asks if you want a dual bladed or single bladed one.

Ive found that with the quests where u receive a lightsabre..it is randomly chosen between a single hilt, a double hilt (and possibly a short lightsabre)

eg, my second light sabre was given by Vrook, but it was a double handle, then I reloaded, then he gave me a single hilt. Then with Vash on Korriban, before I looted her corpse I saved. First time I got a double blade, reload, then a short lightsabre, reload, then a single hilt.
