Please help me...Can't access Leopold mansion

Post by warbiatch »

So I finished the Giovanni mission and I delivered the coffin to Lacroix, had a conversation with Gangrel dude(Garrett? I forget his name, the smart guy). He told me take a cab. Fine? No not fine! The location's not visable on the taxi map. OK I missed something, lets go back and talk to Lacroix. Well, isn't that a big mistake, 'cause no matter what dialog option I choose, after I terminate the conversation it jumps to a cutscene of me walkin' over to Gangrel dude where we have a staring contest until I have to reload my game! AAAAARGHHHH@#$!

Someone please help me I'm about to put my fist through the screen. I read this walkthrough, it mentions the taxi and "tunnels to Malibu beach"???? What the hell?!

I broke the main quest doing the same thing. Cured it by going back to my last save in giovana mansion and making sure I talked to Lacroix before I talked to Beckett.

OK thanx rtwitty you rock. It worked, although I went back in Lacroix's building for fits and giggles: the same stuff happened. At least I can continue my game...
That's quite the bug. I had problems with other missions but they were all sidequests. It feels sometimes like several game designers worked on several parts of the game and they only coordinated the whole thing 24 hrs before release. I never played a game with such extreme highs and terrible lows; one minute you think, "Best RPG of the decade(to date)", then the next minute your're so fustrated you have to physically restrain yourself from uninstalling the whole thing.
Thanx again! :D :D :D
