cheers guys
1.i have edwin and korgan in my party and im slowly approaching the 18 reputation limit.
somewhere i read that i should try to hit a peasent somewhere or to try and steal from a shop.
when i hit a peasent with my fist nothing happens-i dont loose reputation but when i kill them most of the area turns red. maybe a suggestion of where the best peasent for reputation lowering might be?
also when i try to steal from a shop i loose 2 rep point but the owner also gets red and i have to kill him....and i dont want that.
2.the thing i enjoy most in bg2 are the various npc interactions....the comments they make when i make a decision, the various conversations/fights they have with each other etc.
ive been playing the game for the 4th time now(i tried a different party, so far i have only been playing the good characters) and yet i still discover new interactions.
the question i have is: did someone bother to compile all those interactions? and im not just talking about those which can be triggered wioth the ctrl+i cheat. im also talking about the ones which cant....for example when u first face the red dragon i remember minsc having a hilarious comment about fighting dragons.
does anyone know where i might find all those npc reactions?
thanks mates
2 little questions
If you're not planning on using her as your romance, but you're willing to keep her as a party member, you can use Viconia to keep your reputation at 18. When she joins your party, your reputation drops 2 points, and if you drop her from your party, your reputation goes up 2 points. What you can do whenever you're about to hit a 19 reputation is drop her from your party so your reputation goes to 20, you get your reputation point (which doesn't actually increase since you're already at the max of 20), and then take her back in to drop down to 18 again.
At least, I understand that that can be made to work from Dan Simpson's walkthrough. I've never tried it myself - in fact, I've never taken on an evil party member. I assume from that explanation that party members don't -instantly- leave the moment your reputation goes over 18 (or else you wouldn't have time to drop her, get your point and then bring her back in). If their leaving -is- triggered instantly, then I guess it wouldn't work. Try it.

One of the distant sites whose quests you've finished, and where you're not likely to return (aside from the odd kill, that is).

They've been compiled in various threads, here. Best do a few searches on "conversations" or "banter."

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
