Hey guys, I just got this for Xmas and think I have worked out all the bugs but when I am trying to break through the plywood to go into the room with the dumpwaiter I can't hit downwards. Am I missing some weapon (ie sledge hammer or axe) or what?

If I got you right

You need the key from the night table in the rightmost room (missed that myself) to unlock the room on the left. The hole in the floor is covered by some planks and you should get the normal bashing icon, so you can just "use" (by pressing e). No weapons needed.

I found the key and went into the room and when I try to bash down it does not work, I guess I will keep trying

Try pressing "e" or your use key to bash it. I believe that's what you have to do. And if you tried that already and I misread your post, apologies.

If your trying to attack the floor to break something, I don't think you can. Anything in the game (Other then some windows) that you can smash to your benifit has an Action Key Symbol related to it... I THINK! Someone back me up or discredit me?
Either way, I think your trying to do something you can't do.

Yeah, I thought it was that too. Go with the "e" or action key, whatever you might have it bound to.

There are two ways to break through the floor planels. The first is to use the use "e" key. The second is to use a firearm and shoot the panels...takes about 3-5 shots depending on the gun.
