There is a terrible bug in Morrowind (and never fixed) that causes unarmored not to work when not wearing any armor at all! Read that again: when not wearing any armor, the armor rating from the unarmored skill is not used by the game engine, and you have no protection at all.
I was...shocked. Can somebody confirm this? Or better: deny? I never noticed any bugs. I'm playing a monk right now and I have unarmored as one of my major skills. The armor class rises the higher the unarmored-levels get. Thus it seems to be working, right? I have some mods installed though which change unarmored - dodge mod for instance. Can anybody clear things up? I'm thinking of asking around on the tes-board but I would need to look for my nick and password first, so.....

Yeah, my guy also has natural defense in the 50's when not wearing any armour. I think whoever wrote that article must have had a bug or somethin going in their game.
Get up, stand up. Come on, throw your hands up.

Well... leather boots... those made by Braddock are realy nice... but sadly.. it requires Tribunal.. But as for things allready in this game.. i would say that crappiest armor in this game is cloth bracers..

How can you say no to this face?
But seriusly.. Party without Bard is not party...
I can understand that SYM forum.. mentally 6 year old people is just running around with scissors on their hand.
it is in fact bugged, The Ar shows up but it doesnt calculate into damage resistance unless you are wearing a piece of armor.
Damn...any inofficial patches available? Doubtful, I know, but hey....
But I think this is a chance to use the iron bracers which can be found in Haldenshore (mod). Using them one can block attacks while fighting with bare fists.

Hmm...yes? It's the same version of the game, isn't it?
I have another problem though. What if you play a werewolf in Bloodmoon!? You get an unarmored-boost, don't you? But you can't wear any armor thus it should be totally useless.
