I think people tend to forget as i did that Nihilus consumed a whole planet, so he may not be the best with a saber, but you could argue that he has more power than vader
Revan was power. It was like staring into the heart of the Force. Even then, you could see the Jedi he would slay etched on his soul.

pppsshhh, he didn't consume a planet at all. All he did was destroy it with a mighty sith fleet.
