After some troublesome times I finally arose from the underdark and payed a visit at ol Cromwell to get all ma stuff togetha....
so I got the silver sword, the equalizer, the short bow of gesen, the crom fayer and the wave..... Right now Im ( Undead Hunter ) equipped with the Crom Fayer, The Equalizer and The Silver Sword.... Korgans dual wielding the Crom fayer and the Frostreaver... Minsc got the Wave... Haer Dali's has the Short bow of Gesen... those are ma main fightas.... Jaheira's got a rod of smiting or something and Edwin's got a sling of some sort.... My party is around lvl 16-17, Am I ready for the Twisted Rune yet Dammit?????

yeah I duno, I think that shuld be enuf, but you never know, pretty funny tho, right after I visited cromwell, a few thugs came and started messin with me.... fight was so ez it wasnt even funny... got em all in one hit.... It went THIS fast..

Overconfidence has been the downfall of a lot of people my friend. Prepare for every fight like it was your last. All it takes to ruin ones day is a mage with Timestop and Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting.

@Seabass i believe you are ready ,just don't get overconfident and IMHO concentrate on one of them at a time and it shouldn't be that bad.

Yeah fuck man, Im sure Im going to need 50 reloads or some cheapass tactic to make it anyways.... but you know, I asked before, before I went to the underdark, and people said naaaww, you're not ready.... so yeah Im happy I got a hold of some nice weapons.

It can be beat without cheapass tactics and reloading 50 times. I was at about the same level as you when i beat it. Now the first time i went there i was about 11 to 12 level and it was not pretty.The main thing to remember is don't try to bumrush them or no matter what level you are at they will wipe you out.

Yeah, I didnt have to reload, but I did have to ressurect 3 of my guys since they were wiped out by shangalar.... All I didd was equip Korgan with the SHield of Balduran, Me with the cloak of spell turning or something like that.... and since Undead Hunters are immune to level drain I had no trouble taking out the Vampire with the silver sword before he did much damage... the beholder killed himself because of the reflecting rays... That Mage guy gated in a Pit Fiend.... and thats all he did pretty much... after that I just rocked his ass with the Carsomyr... But Shangalar caused some trouble, he casted some death spells, and wiped out 3 of ma guys... but he was not a problem after with my tanks hacking down his ass.....

did i read that right?? u said u were equipped with Crom Fayer and that korgan was dual wielding the Crom Fayer and frostreaver.

ahhhh i see now. I was wondering why you didnt have the holy avenger for your paladin and was going to suggest that you got it.

p.s the undead hunter kit rocks doesnt it!!
