Hey everyone, I just learned that if your character is regenerating, say with a Ring of Gaxx, he will regenerate faster if he is hasted!
I compared the speeds of reneragation, holding down the tab key just to make sure, and I'm quite sure it works!
In other words, Boots and Speed and Ring of Gaxx or Ring of Regeneration equal very cool combo.
This is probably a bug, since the regeneration speed is determined by seconds, not rounds, according to description. Oh well, better take advantage of things while you can. Then again, sometimes the descriptions of different items say different things that mean the same things. I guess the maker os Baldur's Gate II aren't perfect, after all, so perhaps this combo was meant to work after all.

Oh yeah, and strangely enough, after slaying Nizidramanii'yt, my top three characters == My main, Minsc, and Keldorn, all have exactly 2950000 exp, and are just 50000 away from leveling. Bug, or coincidence?

I never noticed that. I don't know if it works with the boots of speed, but I'll have to try and see.
On a similar note, however, I used to have Keldorn dispel my haste spells before it ran out and my characters wouldnt get tired. Seemed to work well for me. I hate resting!
