Transition from SoA to ToB : Spoilers

OK. I finished SoA on Friday, so now I’m ready to start ToB. I’ve installed ToB, the official patch and the Baldurdash Bugfix and Language-fix. I’ve got two questions:

How do I save my final SoA party for use in ToB? Once I finish off Irenicus in Hell, I get the celebration scenes with the Elves and then Irenicus’ party with the Lemmings. After that, I went straight to the credits, so I didn’t have a chance to make a final save before the game ended. Should I just use the save I had before I placed the last Tear of Bhaal? Doing so would cost me the last Tear of Bhaal bonus and the experience from the final battle.

Next question. When I start ToB, am I supposed to get any kind of into movie? When I started it last night, it started right into the field of stone heads. Is there any transition story from SoA to ToB?

You just import your characters in from SoA when you start a new ToB game. You'll get all your stuff.

There is a transition story. Look at the intro.

Oh.. that movie. I've been clicking past the intro movie for so long with SoA that I forgot there was something after the quote screen. Feel kinda silly now.
