Problems with Dialog ?

Post by Mr.gadgets »

I am not sure if we have a problem with the game or not. Most RPG's that we have played you hear the dialog and the dialog that you choose to respond with. At this time when a dialog box pops up we hear the first sentence of dialog but the response that we choose is not spoken and the character that we are talking to does not speak there responses anymore either. When the dialog box pops up the first sentence is spoken and that is it. Thanks in advance for the help.

Don't worry about it. Only the first few lines and a few that are important are actually spoken. Quite often you can recognise important chars because they speak out loud.

I don't know where you came from or what language version you have (that was a small hint to visit that 'Poll - Where do you all come from????' thread Image ) and if it makes a difference, but what you experienced apply also to my version. Only major dialogs and very often only the beginning of them have sound. I can't remember that any choosen answer had a sound connected to it.

It's mainly because the programmers could not cover for every name you could come up with.At lest that was my thinking behind it.If there was a set name for the main char I believe the dialog would continue.I could be wrong.
