THE SHIELD OF MIRRORS?

I bought this nifty shield from RyBald Partemon (at your service). Will this reflect a Beholder's nasty rays?, or just physical missle attacks. If not what can I get to kill those bastards with their own rays?

Ribald are you sure?
There is a shield that refect beholders rays but is "Baldurien Shield" and you get him from Deiner(Noblewoman like on Ribald stop up the stairs).
There is a Shield from old Ribald but this one refelct arrows.

A more serious note : There is a well described section of strategies, one covers fighting beholder. Have a look at it if you need hints.
