I know everyone is old hands at this game, but I just got this for Christmas and thought I would try it out. I really like the game, but I'm having a hell of a time finding the dead tax collector. I've been around every town up to Balmora, but just can't seem to locate him. Can anyone help?
PS. I have tried searching through the past posts, but couldn't find anything useful.
It is actually very close to Seyda Neen. As Jopperm says, just NW of the town. There is a finger of land, I think.. so stick along the coast going northwest of Seyda Neen and make sure you investigate any of the fingers.

I can understand that SYM forum.. mentally 6 year old people is just running around with scissors on their hand.
i always just look for the little shack area in seyda neen and cross that little patch of water onto the peice of land nw of town. just pass the mudcrabs and follow the path - you'll see a path between 2 rocks and a little kwama worm running around, just turn left there and hes right infront of you a few paces...atleast from what i can remember - sorry if they aren't precise..i vaguely remember the area since i haven't made a new character in a month or so. hope it helped some.
There is no good, there is no bad. Just perspective and opinion.
Go on the path to Hla Oad, but shortly when you turn and see the tree thats just like alone on the curve of the path, turn left of it, off the path, and keep going over the pond and you will find him, enjoy!
