Aran's tasks to receive the Shadow Thieves' aid

After I killed Bohdi, I guess I was suppose to get a quest item but never did. I think Bohdi's cloud form just flew off the screen and I never got any items. Is thjis a bug, and how can I get past this quest? Please help, thanx.

You did not kill a vampire if you hack his human form, the vampire just turn into gaseaou form and vanishes. One way to kill him are using stakes & mallets when he is laying in his coffin.
I don't want to spoil you the game, but the shadow thief quest is not to kill Bodhi, it's sufficient to destroy that rival organisation she was controlling, and if youl kill the other undead (don't forget to destroy the vampires in their coffins) the thiefs are satisfied.

I've killed everything possible in the Bohdi lair, I'm noty sure what else there is to do. When I go back to Aran he says I still haven't completed the task.

Did you used the stakes on the coffins ?

Yeah, in the area that has three coffins.
