I can't seem to get past this one!
I'm careful sneaking in, waiting for each of the NPC's to totally move away from the next room, I place cameras, activate them with the computer and sneak back out.
My journal says I've completed the task, and to report back to the Nosferatu chick... but when I arrive there she balls me out for messing up and not killing the model! I've tries this one every which way. Setting my sneak all the way up, unsing the aura viewing trait thing, everything.. every-way.
Is it a game glitch? I have the latest patch, I think.
Uhm... Did you read the newspaper first before you talked to Imalia. Because that happened to me too, because I talked to Imalia first before reading the newspaper beside her. Try repeating it but this time read the news paper first before talking to Imalia. Hope it helps

This happened to me twice as well. But at the third try I did it. I have never read the newspaper, it has nothing to do with it. I suggest you keep trying.
the problem happens when the visibility meter reaches 100 but no NPC appears to react. I did it by feeding on them both - T in the kitchen and bf in the can. no problem. use auspex to make sure that they are immobile in one place facing the other way beforehand.
I got frustrated too - as I kept having Imalia cuss me when I thought I had completed the quest.

I just finished it with my clumsy Brujah (7 stealth with Blood Buff). I'm pretty sure I heard a "who's there", but it didn't affect the outcome. I read the newspaper, talked to Imalia and got my reward. Weird I didn't have any problems with it.

My stealth is at 10 (toreador), I figured if stealth is a trait, I'd need it...
Still getting the "You Idiot... yadda yadda.. remark from her.
I finally just killed the model and cheated myself an extra exp point... the hell with it.
