Inventory question - new to game

Post by Amergin »

Hi; I've finally managed to get a copy of this game, just started playing, and have a couple of very basic questions.

First, is there any way I can put things into Morte's inventory?

Second, how can I use bandages or whatever to heal Morte?

Please forgive what are probably very stupid questions, but I've not played many RPGs, and the system in Planescape is different from anything I've come across before.

1) To put things into Morte's inventory, left-click on an item and drag in onto Morte's image on the buttom of the screen.

2) To use a bandage on Morte, give it to Morte (as described in Step 1). You can then either right-click on it and then press use, or (even better for use in the field) put the bandage in place of the carved-in potions at the top of his inventory. You will then be able to select it in the field by right-clicking anywhere and choosing it in the menus of the circle (it's one of the buttons).

Splunge: Yes, I am enjoying Planescape, though I haven't got very far as yet as various "real life" things have eaten into my game time recently (that's why I've not visited the forum recently). I'm playing as a mage, with high wisdom and intelligence. I really like the extra dialogue options these offer, and the fact that I don't have to fight my through everything. How about you, do you like it?
