i tried all day to kill arkanis bayle and it's impossible

i mean the arkanis bayle who appears when you try to steal from the vendor guy in maevar's guildhall in the docks district. when you do he appears next to your PC and kills you in one hit. i tried everything: mantle, hiding, sanctuary
, otilkoi's(sp?) resilient sphere, time stop spells... i even tried the cluaconsole kill cheat. nope, he won't die.

also if you manage to keep alive for a while MORE arkanis bayles will appear!! i should have taken a screen shot, i kept my PC alive for 30 seconds once and there were 4 arkanis bayles chasing her around the screen, lol. has anyone ever killed him when he pops like that? i want his dagger

arkanis gath appears when you do something to screw the storyline..ie attacking aran linvail after you sided with the shadow thieves

i know he appears when i mess up the story line but i want that sword hehe. i'm going to try tons of death spells and lower resistance and see if that gets him. also maybe i could pick pocket his sword then imprison him and run away.

that sword is made to be sure to take you out when errors happens....but you can try ghoul touch....i managed to wipe gorion with it in candlekeep in bg1...you know..if you attacked him, he would destroy your main char with one blow....i stunned him and killed him before he could use his special deatch touch
