Edwin [Spoiler]

I have had Edwin in my party practically since the beginning of the game. I went to get the book of Kaza for Korgan's Quest with Edwin in my party, I came across the Nether Scroll which the Lich posesses. When you destroy the Lick Edwin talks about it's awesome power and how you can never look at it. Later on in the game he brags about unlocking some of it's secrets and then later in the game he believes that he has found some brilliant magic with the potential of turning himself into a greater being I instruct him to go ahead which turns him into a woman

Now I was wondering if you can ever turn Edwin back into a man?

Also further into the game a Wizard comes in search of Edwin, I'm assuming he is a Red Wizard of Thay. When he came searching for Edwin he called him a rogue and such, but Edwin had already turned into a woman and didn't recognize Edwin now I had the oppurtunity of turning Edwin in. Which resulted in me having to kill Edwin after he called me a traitorous bastard no less and me recieving a reward of 5000 gold or lying to the wizard which I did so I can keep him in the party. I haven't progressed much further after this so I'm not sure whether there will be anymore happenings.

If you want to keep this thread going you can tell of your experiences with other NPC's and I would appreciate if someone could tell me how to turn Edwin back into a man. At first I though I could get the cursed girlde which alters their sex. (I think it's a girdle) Although I'm pretty sure you can only get that in the first Baldurs Gate.

If something like this has been posted before could you at least point me in the right direction with a link.

There are numerous walkthroughs that also deals with NPCs, there are even some on this page I think. They would fulfill what you seem to wish to know (what will happen in the future with your NPCs).

Just keep playing, the issue will be dealt with (assuming you did not turn Edwin in)
