I found a glitch in the programming that nobody has mentioned - during the endgame when you are only allowed to go to your haven, the blood bank or shopping for weapons - IF your haven is Skyline Apartments you can go walkabout still!
In your apartment, go upstairs and into your bedroom - go through the grating and out via the security area - you have freedom again and can pick up the taxi which will let you go to other areas without resuming the endgame. it offered G- park again, but I thought the extra XP I would get for achieving that mission and killing the werewolf again would be a cheat, so limited myself to proper areas.
I picked up some cash from Confession during that period!
when I had done enough, I simply went back to Skyline and tried to re-enter my apartment through the lower ((closed) grate - back to endgame taxi ride and no glitches.
Money tree
In chinatown, you kill a lot of kidnappers with weapons.
the weapons endure leaving the area - so drop your full brock/anaconda and pick up a spare one - nip over to Tseng's shop and sell him the gun. go back, collect another and sell it to him. repeat until you only have your own personal fully-loaded side arms.
I had finance 5 and was getting $140 per brock, which is a lot of cash game wise.
FREEDOM!!! and Money!!!!

Try leaving the gratings down before the end game. Also if you use this exploit, you can skip part of the end game. For instance I chose the lone wolf ending for my last play through and went to the apartment down the airvents and straight to the tower after Lacroix. Skipped all the chinatown ending and still had key for ending scenes.

gratings
yes - the grating needs to be open already as using a door in the apartment returns you to the end-game.
I didn't like to mess with the order of things so I only used it as a way to finish off minor quests and get tooled up with full ammo before going back, but it may provide a way to increase the available XP - if you can do the wolfie quest and the sneaksie quests again - possible an extra 19XP.
the haven is the only place that you can reload the flame-thrower - I was stuck with the thrower being only half full when I bought it during the end section. I stashed blood-packs and weapons ready for the show down and so went into the end rather well-prepared. going to the haven and readying the thrower empties the clip, so you can have a second canister. my last character was given a spare canister whenever I bought one for some reason - must have been a special offer.
