Extraction?

I didn't see any threads when I searched for this, but maybe I was searching for the wrong thing. Anyway, I was wondering if extracting the files from the Toreador re-skin straight into the folder that they need to go in will replace those orig. files properly.

On a sim. note, I was wondering if any of the reskins whuld show up when picking a clan? i.e. the Tremere girls

please excuse me if this has been asked and answered and/or the babbling, as it's 3 am here and I should be getting a little bit of rest...

Just in case any of you were wondering, I don't remember having to extract the vpk files when I "installed" the dark VV skin by HellWolve. Am I just mistaken?

Yeah, the game will work just fine with the new files(It will use these instead of the ones inside the VPK packs, so there's no need to extract the VPK files at all). As long as u put them in the correct directory of course.

ok, thanks man. I'm *trying* to get the toreador reskins that i d/l ed to work, but everytime I think I've installed them correctly, I don't see 'em. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Is it because these are for a PC char. as opposed to an NPC?

Update

For those that may still be wondering...the reskins did seem to take this time. Now the only lil tiny thing that is confusing me about this one is which outfit is armor0? I got the impression that the char starts off in that really cool dress but my char looks to start out wearing a recolor of what the orig. starting clothing looks like. Did I put the files in the wrong places?
