Two blades or one?

Post by Johnny100Pesos »

Hi guys...I'm new to the boards. Like some of the people here, I'm waiting for the game to come out on the PC.

I just have a quick question for those of you who have gone through the game. I'm planning to play as a Sith Lord, so I'm wondering if its worth having the character specialize in dueling or in two weapon combat.

Thanks!

As a Sith Lord you'll probably be able to hold your lightsabre up as a distraction while you slaughter everyone with your force powers. One is probably all you'll need, but it's a matter of preference really.
Open here I flung the shutter, when, with many a flirt and
flutter,
In there stepped a stately raven of the saintly days of yore;
Not the least obeisance made he; not a minute stopped or stayed
he;................................
Perched, and sat, and nothing more.

one is cool because your free hand does the force powers, I hate using 2 because you still youse the same hand to cast the power but the lightsaber is there so it doesn't seem authentic.

for any character that will go mostly with force powers, you should only use one sabre. Reasons being that you don't need the extra damage from using two sabers, you get much better defence with one sabre + dueling feat, and when you do use your sabre, you might actually hit something instead of missing all the time. Plus one sabre looks way better when using force powers. let all your other characters use two sabers or doublebladed.
