Problems finishing Act 3 last quest

I've cleared out every monster in the caves and opened the Black Raven Gate, but Barum still doesn't give me the option to say yes I've cleared everything so he'll give me the next quest. Did I miss some hidden spot or am I doing something wrong?

Had you already cleared out the caves before you talked to him? I think if you've already opened the gate then you must already have the mining tools which are the prize for clearing the caves, right?

did you check that smaller cave with those slimes,trolls and one big slime man?

Did you kill all of the jellies in the lower part? I actually killed off all the hook horrors and fire beetles before talking to him and accepting the quest. Then couldn't figure out how to get past it. I then remembered about the jellies and went back to slay them. After that, the quest was completed.

I never did figure it out, but I went on without it. I've just entered the Jungles of Chult, which is the furthest I've ever gotten so I'm happy
