Hanharr vs. Mira (Spoiler)

I am playing as a dark Jedi, and right now, I am pretty close to maxing out my dark side alignment. I have just carved my way through Jekk Jekk Tarr, but now I have realized that, instead of Mira, I have to play as Hanharr. I do not want hanharr, I want Mira. She would complement my group better than Hanharr would. Plus I think Hanharr is annoying.

Is there anything I can do to reverse this? I have been nothing but a bi-otch (yeah, I am playing a girl, I thought hanharr is men only) to Hanharr, and have clearly expressed my intentions of killing him, but I still have to play as him. I am at the part where I am forced to kill Mira.

Is there anything I can do about this? Do I get a chance to kill that walking carpet later on and take a wounded Mira instead? Or will I have to suck it up and just take Hanharr on as a useless party member that I never use (he can hang out with Bao-dur)

Hanharr/Mira is determined by your alignment, not gender.

I know that Hanharr is for the evil characters, but I do not want him. Oh well, maybe I'll show him what happens when you deal with the Sith.

unless someone knows a way for evil characters to get Mira

Oh My Freaking God!!!

Bao Dur... Useless... anger.. rising... Face... twitching... control... slipping... how can you not use Bao Dur?? Hes one of the coolest charcaters in the game. The whole arm thing plus the whole shield thing. hes the greatest character. who do you use? Medic? little pansy boy, "i like to heal stuff" "whatever, shut up and get back on the ship", soldier?? i dont think so. kreia, grumpy one handed chick. honestly who's stupid enough to try and sneak up on a force user. they dont need eyes you stupid woman!! visas?? (i assume you have her since you said you are almost all the way darkside) blind chick who likes to tell me her life is mine?? whats up with that? i know you've been abused and i spared you (wait that was a light side choice, do you even have her??) the only good thing she has is the ability to see with the force. atton i can understand he does have some good qualities especially as you... develop him. (i know there's a spoiler tag but i just want to play it safe). who else oh yeah the droids, goto you suck, just plain and simple, major suckiness going on from you. HK?? well if he calls me a meat bag, or for that matter talks to me at all i will make him feel that back of my hand, and since hes a robot, for him to feel it i will have to continue slapping for a while, T3? now T3 is one choice i would understand as well, hes cool, his toughness, is awesome and when i equip him with a ceremonial bowcaster, its all over, plus hes got the portable workbench thing working in his favor. Handmaiden... oh wait your female so you dont get the coolest charcter in the game. sorry. plus your darkside so you only get Hanharr not Mira so i can taunt you with that. too bad.

OK im sorry for the rant but i just love Bao Dur that much, plus it felt good to get my frustrations over my other party members out.

well, if it makes you feel better, It seems that because I can not have a jedi in the form of Mira, I will make Bao-dur. I actually considered making everyone who could be one a jedi, but it seems now that Mira is out of the question Bao-dur will get more playing time, since Hanharr is going to get locked in my closet and won't be allowed to come out

haha all characters suck at first... until u turn them into Jedi... Bao Dur is awesome!! I waited till he was a Jedi to level him up... haha.. also Mira, Atton, and Handmaidon, I love her!! She kills as a Jedi Gaurdian..

I have to disagree that Hanharr is useless. I'm not even sure my main character can cut through enemies like Hanharr. When I'm evil, I love to have an angry, blade wielding wookie in my party. Sometimes I just stand back and watch him go to work. He loves to kill humans you know. He's not as nice to look at as Mira, though, I must admit.

i like mira...

actually both charcters are way powerful..by far the most powerful characters in the game, early in the game...

mira gets targetting and precise shots for free, making her incredibly powerful if you wait to level 20 or 30 to max out her targetting abilities before making her a jedi...

hanharr can be given 255 strength and intelligence using a exploit...even without the exploit, like the big Z, he's a walking talking tank...best possible choice for consular types who rely on others to melee while they're back casting force powers...

oh yeah...bao dur sucks...great tech, terrible ranged or melee fighter...
