Taking Bowerstone

Post by Uncontrolable »

so have u owned every town except bowerstone? Well if u haven't sacrificed the mercinaries yet now is your chance. Ok first hire one, two, three or all of the mercs then take them to bowerstone and start picking the places u want then smash some windows so the gaurds come the mercs will attack them but try to lead them to the person that owns the building and eventually they will kill him/her and the place will be for sale if the mercs die don't worry they come back. ;)

or get each owner of a building to follow you outside, kill them and then buy their property...

stupid mercs...

i tried that...

not as easy as it sounds when three Guards have one daft Merc cornered while he's trying to kill a child! you can't kill children, sadly =|

plus some buildings have more than one owner, say if a family lives in a house, you have to kill every family member for that building to become available... and if one of them is a child... you've got no chance of owning that house! =(

just a thing i've noticed!

another way...

sound the alarm, i've had an idea! just thought of it so bear with me if it doesn't work =P

this'll be a lot easier if you're evil, have your reknown at about 5+ and the spell "Slow Time" at level 3+

go to either Twinblade's Camp or Twinblade Elite's Camp and get every Bandit you can to follow you... start to make your way up to Bowerstone, without using the Guild Seal as "followers" can't warp anywhere... now whenever you enter an area with enemies, cast "Slow Time" and run straight through that area...

i've tried this method a couple of times when i've had followers and it works a treat! =)

hopefully everyone should survive when you eventually get to Bowerstone, then just enter the House you want and attack until you get a fine, then let the Bandits take care of everyone! =)

let me know how you get on! =D i'm off to try this out...

In response to the hiring of all the mercs has anyone been able to do this because i have tried hiring them all in an effort to get skorm's bow and i could only get two of them.

She's got a smile that, it seems to me, reminds me of childhood memories, where everything is as fresh as the bright blue sky.

Cheats...

And the best way is... the glitch

ok go get the assasin rush power... then go somewhere where you can use assasin rush. Go infront of a door(example: oakvale to barrowfields) In oakvale, make assasin rush to the door that take you to barrowfields, when the map of barrowfields had load, go back inmediatly to oakvale, and you will see that oakvale is totally frezee, all houses are for sale!!! now, teleport to bowerstown and their houses are also for sale!!! now buy it (also in Bowerstone North) to make sure if the whole game is frezee, shoot an arrow, if the game is totally frezee, the arrow will be floating and not moving.

Sorry for my miss spells cuz I'm not good with english... Actually my first language is spanish and second tagalog and the third english

I Got It!

Ok, my numnutted friends, enough with all the sketchy ideas, here's the killer of bowerstone giving you the info you need:mischief: . Put fable trainer 7 on, use health toggle and one hit kill. Now do something to cheese of the gaurds, chase around so they try to fire cross bow bolts at you, run behind people, etc. the whole jibber jabber, just make sure the civilians get shot by the crossbow bolts, ONE HIT KILL! WOOO! :D Or you can hire the bodygaurds and they can do a nice one hit killing stab. Pleasent  . Takes a while but so worth it to get a house in bowerstone. I would send pictures but the upload limit is patheticly tiny on here

instead of using a trainer, you can always punch villagers until they lose only 10 hp every punch then get the guards to shoot them.

or do the merc\bandit thing.

you still cant kill children though :(

i noticed that you can only get children homes in the original fable using the freeze glitch, and i noticed that it wont sell the\some none children homes(the tavern and maybe some other houses)

;)

You know, I have actually tried to take over Bowerstone using the power of the mercenaries before. An okay strategy, but far too much work to take over such a small town.
