Just curious, how many hit points does your paladin have?

Post by Bodhidharma »

I was reading Riverwinds character guide, and the paladin that was described in his analysis had 150 hit points, i'm assuming this was at the end of SoA. My paladin, at the end of SoA had base 66 hit points, and 71 with all his equipment and stuff on. his constitution is 15....kinda hard to have high constitution as well as strength and dex, cuz charisma on paladins is minimum 15 i think. He had a decent roll at total 82 points to manipulate. The best roll i have ever gotten after rolling for 2 hours was 88. The average is 75-80. 85 is possible if you roll for 20-30 times. I just took the 82 cuz i figured it was decent, and i didn't want to spend 2 hours rerolling dice. But he seems to have way way too low hps. And infact, he was always guarenteed to die like in the first 1 minute of any and every difficult fight, and he probably quaffed about 90% of the heal potions throughout the game, because i did make him to be my tank afterall....

just wondering what other peoples experiences are with paladins.... mine seems to suck ass.

I usually boost STR, DEX, and CON at the expense of the other stats. Paladins don't need high intelligence or wisdom. Also, I have the game options set so that my characters receive the maximum hit points per level. For a level 9 paladin, this translates into 90 hit points base, before any adjustments for constitution.

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

What!? 88 points is pretty bad for a paladin, I once got 99 after 10 mns rolling, but I normally get around 92...pallys get better rolls because of their minimums, and having such a high charisma minimum only means that if you get less, it will automaticlly be pushed up, but it doesn`t affect other status (I think).

Your char. wasn't lvl drained at all, was he? That might explain your low HP.

That alone probably makes up for 30 Hit Points...

This is with the Helm of Balduran on, so you'll have to take off 5 hit points.

I don't know if the minimum is 13 or not, but actually I had 13 points of wisdom, but in the dream, where you lose your Bhaal powers, there I sacrificed from my wisdom to the demon.
