Sith??(SPOILER!!!)
Sith??(SPOILER!!!)
Ok if the sith around this galaxy isnt the real sith then why did Bastilla say that they originated from Koriban and blended with the local population called sith? and if there is a true sith out there then maybe there is a true jedi also??? And are the Sith Lords buried in Koriban also regarded as semi sith? eg Nago Sosa(sp).

The Sith where never a race of people. They are a organisation between two a Master and Apprentice to the later part.
When the force was first used thousands of years before KOTOR there was a single jedi that stood up and revolted about how the force should be used. trh Jedi of old was scared the talents they had and the abilities they could use, Darth Bane his name wasn't so afraid and let his emotions run rampant. Now he wasnt the 1st Dark Lord there where a lot of them, members of the Force Perceptive groups that constantly battled each other until one was dominant and ruled the roost of the Sith... Lord Darth Bane had other ideas, he was the strongest of the roost after defying the Jedi order he made himself the sith master and spared the one he thought worthy as being the apprentice.
Darth Bane made the ruling the Master and Apprentice however there are small pockets of Force Seers that are attuned to the Dark Side and dont make such a big impact on the Galaxy.
Following what Bastila said.. its certainly True that Sith Korriban connection is there but not as such that there was lots enought to make a city from them.
The Dark side is filled with Betrayal and Deceipt.. the hole idea of a community being that way would never survive a day, as no-one would have been able to survive long enough to make a difference.

There have never been any TRUE Jedi,m each master has his/her flaw like the rest of the none-force users, which makes them do human mistakes,... no-one is perfect. the closest to any would have been Anakin Skywalker if he had stayed true to the light side and not become Darth Vader during his life, since he was created by the force as a counter balance!
hope this answers your querry on the Sith Origin.

At Last We Will Reveal Ourselves to the jedi... At Last We'll Have Revenge
"Sith" is just a label that any dark side force user might take (unless someone stronger objected, of course). There once was a Sith race, and Korriban was the graveyard of their rulers, but since Naga Sadow was defeated by the Republic, no one ever heard of them again - and that was more than one thousand years before the Mandalorian Wars!
Freedon Nadd, Exar Kun, Revan, Sion and their ilk just found some remains of what the true Sith left behind, and created a kind of Sith ideology, or myth, to strengthen their hold on their followers. Already in KotOR 1 we were often reminded that Malak's Sith were self-proclaimed, and what KotOR 2 hints at is that while Revan declared himself to be Dark Lord of the Sith, he knew full well that somewhere beyond the rim, there were descendants of the original Sith from Naga Sadow's time (probably with at least one individual also being called Dark Lord), and he set out to find out what they were planning.
The best compilation about Sith history is to be found at

It's similar to the KotOR Chronicles, but IMO much more in-depth and complete.

The real sith
The sith were a primitive race of humanoids,They used spears, swords ect. the real sith died out thousands of years before any of the KOTOR thingies, but soon Dark Jedi came to find these sith and taught them how to make more advanced weapony and vehicles, and most importantly how to use the force, the real sith were all killed at yavin 4 except for Naga Sadow and his group of elite trained sith body guards known as massasi warriors.

If it has ears it can be deafened,if it has a mouth it can scream,if it has eyes it can be blinded,if it has legs it can be crippled -Enscription on an ancient sith weapon

Darth Bane was not the original Sith Lord, he was the one that set up the tradition of two, the master and apprentice, the master ruling until struck down when surpassed by the apprentice, who then, being the master, took on a new apprentice. Before that there were a whole host of Sith Lords, which as you can imagine was anarchy.
Thats what I read anyway.

Minor things..
Okay you lost me Fletcher.
Um, in KOTOR they have said that the Sith were just dark jedi exiled that settled on the planet and took up the ancient Sith trainings and took over the locals (called the Sith) and decided to call themselves the Sith. Except for the fact it says there is not, nor has ever been, a True Sith race I think for the moment we should get past that. In KOTOR II Kreia (I believe) said that Korriban was the planet on the furthest most edge of the ancient 'True' Sith empire.
So I extract that True Sith used to exist within the Star Wars galaxy, when the Dark Jedi left the order they came to Korriban and followed the Sith teachings and eventually called themselves Sith. Later, Revan found them because of his dealings being a Sith Lord and being on Korriban. And that he went to go investigate. Besides if we are looking for plot holes, they talked about how the.. Ritaka?.. came from a different galaxy and then basically taught the Star Wars galaxy hyperspace technology. Even though until KOTOR I had never heard any such idea, just that hyperspace was developed.
On another note. I thought that Bane came far later in history. After KOTOR at least. Wasn't he was supposed to be the dark lord who decided that to be best able to defeat the Jedi that there must only be 1 Master and 1 Apprentice but most obviously in KOTOR they broke that rule? Besides the first dark lords were the ones enshrined on Korriban and I'm sure that Bane deserved his place, so where was he?
Once again even though I had an inclination and thought that Naga was a 'Sith' there is not really much to say he was. I guess I'll have to look into that site, then check it against other refrences.

Bao-Dur: I think he wanted us to give up the Genreal to his poorly trained collection of bounty hunters.
Atton: Ah. well that would explain it. Which one do you want?
Bao-Dur: I'll take the stupid one who decided to threaten us rather than shoot us when he had the chance.
