Jedi Party From What Moment? ::::Possible Spoilers:::

Post by Stefaan »

Hey, this has probably already been posted  but i had a question:
The characters, Bao-Dur, Disciple, Handmaiden, Atton and Mira can be turned Jedi. But from what moment? Just a soon as you can talk to them? I'm quite confused, and want to do it right 'cause i heard some strange stories.

So, how do you turn them when and where etc do's and dont's....

*SPOILERS*

It all comes down to influence. However, there are some exceptions. For instance, you need to run into the 2 Twi'leks in the Nar Shaddaa Refugree Sector and confront Atton about his past before he asks you train him as Jedi. If I remember correctly you must also bring Mira on Nar Shaddaa and near the cantina and mention how much calmer she looks on it before she asks to be trained. You must spar Handmaiden 3 times(and win), ask her about her robes, ask Kreia about Handmaidens mother, and finally ask Handmaiden about her mother and she'll ask you to train her. Disciple is easy and can be done as soon as you meet him. Bao-Dur requires quite a bit of influence, but once you get enough he will ask you about it.

With all that said, none of the above events matter if you don't have enough influence. Here are some tips for the tougher ones:

Bao-Dur is not influenced much by talking, almost entirely by good actions. In fact, almost all his influence gains also come with a Light Side Point, making it very difficult for a Dark Side character(but entirely possible, I've done it and let me tell you Bao-Dur looks wicked when he's fallen).

Handmaiden is the same way in that a lot of her influence is gained through good actions, but she can be talked up quite a bit.

Mira really doesn't care what you do as long as you respect her. You just have to be on Nar Shaddaa for her to ask.

Atton responds to Dark Side actions more than any of the other characters, making him easier for an evil player. Killing innocents is almost a guaranteed influence gain for him. He'll ask about it and just tell him it was necessary. Must talk to the Twi'leks in the Refugee Sector on Nar Shaddaa and ask him about it though.

Hope that helps.

What's another way to gain influence with Atton other than Dark Side actions?

There's an excellent FAQ on NPC influence on gamefaqs.com. Check it out.

Thanks. That has a lot of good stuff in it. I'm sure I'll be able to do a lot with that.
