Well, I just finished KOTOR2 as a perfect Light-side character. And although I expected it to deliver way more, I have to say I love it. The storyline is pretty indepth yet feels simple once you know all about it. KOTOR1 delivered surprise. KOTOR2 delivered suspense.
However, a few thoughts that came across my mind that I wish to share.
- We know that G0-T0 held Bao-Dur's lil droid "hostage", we do not know of their fates, and what exactly happens. We are left blank in that case. Also, nothing helps us understand how the Ebon Hawk managed to get itself all working/repaired and running at the end to escape Malachor V. The earlier movies showed it was pretty much wrecked up. I presume Bao-Dur fixed it, but still too little to hope for.
- The story of the HK-50 droids hunting the main character remains unsolved. Too little to bring upon a conclusion. Of course we know Goto hired the assassin droids, but much remains in doubt.
- Confusion!!! The lack of a proper romance and proper "goodbye" ending leaves us all wondering what happens next, and perhaps we will soon make up stories on how it probably ends. Of course, we know that Kreia explains a part of it, but it just happens to be too shallow.
As a male character, and having 3 female characters with love interest (Handmaiden, Mira, and Visas Marr), gives the audience/players a great deal of confusion. I was aiming for a Handmaiden romance, but there was no hint of even a slight one, and for some reason I feel Visas was the one having a little of love interest showed in the end.
KOTOR1 delivered a love interest between the main character and Bastilla. KOTOR2 left us in limbo. I just wished there was more Obsidian Entertainment can offer to us.
- I have found out that there is NO +3 stat bonus for having an NPC influenced way toward a particular side, whether light/dark.
- We are still left in doubts over Carth Onasi and Bastilla (Characters from KOTOR1). A short sequence shows them discussing the events of Revan. Nothing helps us reach a conclusion. I only wished there were more towards it. Those characters were a significant part of the events that took place. Too little of Bastilla.
- KOTOR2 perfectly shows the raw determination and aggression of the Mandalorians. It was great to finally see a Basilisk War Droid pummelling through a planet's atmosphere and blasting its way to the surface. Thumbs up!
Here are some facts/spoilers I wish to further reveal and help u guys solve:
- Mandalore is Canderous Ordo from KOTOR1. Clan Ordo being a clan of Mandalorians. "Mandalore" is the name held by the current leader of the Mandalorians.
- HK-47 is an older version of the frequently seen HK-50 assassin droids.
- No sign of Jolee Bindo. Only slight references from a piece of equipment called Jolee's Headband.
Overall, KOTOR2 is an amazing game. I am sure many of us here wished it delivered more, but I guess it allows KOTOR3 to be on the works and perhaps then we will have more answers solved. I have grown a slight interest in all the characters and the Ebon Hawk is a place I enjoy and would like to revisit from time to time. I will be starting a new game soon as a perfect Darkside character. Will keep y'all updated
Till' then, drop lines and speak(or b1tch) about this wonderful game!
Just finished the game... *SPOILERS*

SPOILERS
GO-TO vs Remote: Alternate endings. If you are dark side, GO-TO prevents the remote from firing up the mass shadow thingies, saying he needs Malachor to exist (apparently he believes the planet, being the source of evil it is, serves an important role in "the balance" of the galaxy). The Ebon Hawk falls deep into the core of Malachor V (probably all the crew die).
Light side, I think the shadow thingies are fired up and thus the planet gets destroyed. Atton or Bao-Dur manage to repair the ship as the planet falls apart and the crew (probably with the main character on board) survive.
The HK-50 factory didn't make it to the release. Presumably, HK-47 can use the voice decoder you found on Peragus to track down an incoming signal. The HK-50s are using that item to track you down, so the next time they try using it to pop up and attack you, HK-47 can follow it to its source. Unfortunately, this encounter never happens.
Final note: There are too many things missing from the game and a lot of bugs (that should have been noticed and fixed before release) to make this game all that enjoyable. I only played it because I liked the general Star Wars RPG thing, but I didn't enjoy it that much.

Walk among them... these beasts that are less than you are. See their strength, see how easily you fall to their muscle and skill. Why do you stand for this, why do you submit to the flesh when death is bred in your bones?
nor me i dont even consider finishing the game..after the many bugs i have encountered and glitches causing restarting of the game 3x for me..it gets old...i have only made it to the mandalore and then glitches appear severely disallowing me to load the game
i just wish they would have took time and not try to rush in a year ... it ruined the game I waited so long for this and now im crushed =(
