So, I stated a new BGII game and imported my guy from part 1. As soon as the game started I hit pause and went to my inventory. All my items were still there, so I dropped them on the ground.
When the game started, I picked them up and looked at them. I noticed a few things.
1. Most of the item graphics changed.
2. Some items were blank. When you right clicked on them nothing was there. This happed for most of the BGI only items, (notes, books, that platemail +3 I found in Durlags tower, etc). Generic items (longsword +2, etc) worked normaly, as did drizzt's stuff.
3. To my surprize, both the sword of balduran, and the cloak of balduran worked normally. The designers, for some reason took the swords bonus to werewolves away and changed the text about it. (hmmm... interesting). Why did they do this? Shouldn't this be one of the "impossible" items?
OK here is my idea.
Assemble the Complete Balduran set. With TOB and this recent discovery, it is now possible.
Has anyone ever tried this?
I'm sure nothing special will happen when I complete the set, but there is the remote chance that SOMETHING might happen. Hell its worth a chance, right?
ps. Is there any other Balduran stuff? I know of the: Sword, Cloak, Helm, Shield, and Plate.
Hey, I just thought of something cool to try!
